The holidays are here and many of us are wondering how to entertain the children during these days. We’d like to get out into nature and go on hikes already. But the weather forecasts do not bode well for the next few days. Dinner invitations are very cold. So, colouring pages and activities  for our little ones will definitely come in handy.

We have prepared several activities for your kids that will surely entertain them. in the printable file at the end of this article you will find a classic colouring book, flowers blooming in water and colouring according to the dice.

Coloring page for children Lujza the sheep

Print a colouring book with the motif of our friend Lujza the sheep you know from our cushions or backpacks . And don’t forget that there are no limits to imagination. The resulting colour scheme and technique is up to the small plasterer. You can use classic crayons or markers, or try watercolours or finger paints.

The activity of flowering of the flowers

You may have already encountered this activity. Our children enjoy it very much and return to it repeatedly and happily. They themselves ask me to cut out “such flowers that can be put in water”. We’ve always laboriously drawn them, so today we solved it once and for all. We have created printable flowers so we can come back to them at any time, just print them out and the kids can immediately have fun colouring them, cutting them out and then putting them in the water.

You too can have fun with your children with this nice activity. Just print out the flowers from the file you will find at the end of this article. Colour them according to your imagination. We recommend using markers, the water gets colored from them, and the kids get a lot of joy out of it. Cut the coloured flowers and fold the petals one by one towards the centre. The flower closes and when we carefully place it on the water, it slowly opens and starts to bloom. We recommend using a higher weight paper for this activity, which will soak more slowly and the final effect will be more beautiful.

Painting by dice

The last spring activity we did today is colouring by the dice. Again, you can print the template from the file at the end of this article. Next, you will need a dice, for example from the game Man Don’t Be Angry, and your favourite colours. You can use crayons, markers, wax crayons or watercolours. We colored one flower after another. We rolled the dice and according to the number we rolled on it, we chose the colour for the flower that was next. Children practice numbers in a fun way and learn to follow the predetermined instructions.

We have created two versions for this activity. One that you just print out and start painting and one without the designated colors. Before you begin, colour the squares at the bottom of the colouring book with your little artist’s favourite colours, ones they still need to learn or simply the ones you have at the moment.

Wishing you a pleasant creation, a lovely holiday season and the most wonderful Easter :).
